The initial Zündapp motorcycle was the model Z22 in 1921. This was the Motorrad für Jedermann ("motorcycle intended for everyone"), a simple, reliable design that was manufactured in large series. Zündapp's history of weighty motorcycles began in 1933 with all the K-series. From 1957 to 1958 the organization also produced the Zündapp Janus microcar.In 1958 the corporation moved from Nuremberg to be able to Munich.
