Benetton System Ltd., commonly referred to basically as Benetton, was a Formula 1 constructor that participated from 1986 to 2001. The team was owned with the Benetton family who run an international chain of clothing stores with the same name. In 2000 the workforce was purchased by Renault, but competed as Benetton for that 2000 and 2001 months.
