They produced small Zündapp motorcycles from 1987 till earlier 1990s. Zündapp is still in operation, but makes Honda dependent 4-stroke motorcycles and power mopeds.Zündapp also had some sort of technical collaboration with Royal Enfield (India) to make mopeds and motorcycles. A dedicated factory has been built at Ranipet near Chennai in the early 1980s to make small, lightweight two-stroke motorcycles to be offered along with their flagship Royal Enfield Topic.
