Zündapp was a major German motorcycle manufacturer launched in 1917 in Nuremberg through Fritz Neumeyer, together with the Friedrich Krupp AG along with the machine tool manufacturer Thiel under the name "Zünder- und Apparatebau Gary. m. b. The initial Zündapp motorcycle was the actual model Z22 in 1921. This was the Motorrad für Jedermann ("motorcycle intended for everyone"), a simple, reliable design that was produced in large series. Zündapp's history of weighty motorcycles began in 1933 while using K-series. From 1931 Ferdinand Porsche in addition to Zündapp developed the prototype Car für Jedermann ("car for everyone"), which was the first-time the name Volkswagen seemed to be used. After WWII the business transitioned to smaller products, notably the "Bella" powerplant scooter, which was a relatively heavy machine because of its type. After the bankruptcy, the entire production collection and intellectual properties was bought by Xunda Generator Co., Tianjin, China. They produced small Zündapp motorcycles from 1987 till their early 1990s. Zündapp is still operational, but makes Honda structured 4-stroke motorcycles and electric powered mopeds.Zündapp also had a new technical collaboration with Regal Enfield (India) to construct mopeds and motorcycles. A dedicated factory ended up being built at Ranipet near Chennai inside the early 1980s to produce small, lightweight two-stroke motorcycles to be offered with their flagship Royal Enfield Topic.
