After WWII the organization transitioned to smaller machines, notably the "Bella" powerplant scooter, which was a relatively heavy machine for its type. Following bankruptcy, the entire production range and intellectual properties ended up being bought by Xunda Electric motor Co., Tianjin, China. They produced small Zündapp cycles from 1987 till the first 1990s.
